Alright, so I didn’t expect too much from the Bodywel T16 Pro. It’s small, super budget-friendly, and it rolls on 14-inch wheels. I figured it would be basic at best. But honestly? It surprised me in some pretty good ways.
Let’s start with the unboxing. Super straightforward. You just pop on the front wheel, adjust the handlebars and saddle, and you’re ready to go. But here’s something I really appreciated — it actually comes with a little jar of touch-up paint. Why don’t more brands do that? It’s a small thing, but it shows they actually expect you to use this bike over time and know what kind of stuff might come up. Same with the extra rubber plug for the charging port — just thoughtful, honestly.
Build quality is solid. The frame feels sturdy, the welds are clean, and the paint finish is really nice. I’ve got the light blue version, which definitely stands out, but there’s also an almond color that looks super sleek. I might even like that one better.
Now, something that kind of made me laugh — the display. It’s huge. Way too big for such a tiny bike. It works fine, shows your speed, battery level, all the basics, but in direct sunlight, you can barely see it. Still, I’d rather have a goofy big screen than no screen at all.
The riding position is actually decent. The handlebar is low and not adjustable, so if you’re tall, it might feel a bit awkward at first. But once I was riding, it felt comfortable enough. It’s not a long-distance cruiser, but for a small city bike, it works.
One thing that really caught me off guard was the suspension. It actually has front suspension, and it works surprisingly well for this price range. Makes the ride a lot smoother, especially over rougher pavement or cobblestones.
The motor is a 250-watt hub, and it reaches the usual 25 kilometers per hour. Takes a little effort to get there, and you’ll hear the motor doing its thing, but once it gets up to speed, it feels smooth enough — especially considering those tiny wheels.
Stability-wise, it’s decent. Not as solid as a full-size bike of course, but for something this compact and light, it feels pretty planted. It weighs around 21 kilos, which is on the heavier side for a bike this small, but you are getting a strong frame and that suspension.
Range is about 40 kilometers with pedal assist, which is totally fine for what this bike is. City commuting, quick errands, maybe even tossing it in the camper van. It comes with a 2A charger too, which is better than most budget setups.
So yeah — the Bodywel T16 Pro honestly impressed me. It’s got a clean finish, thoughtful extras, actual suspension, and it rides smoother than I expected. If you’re looking for something compact, practical, and fun — whether that’s for the city, a camper, or public transport — this is a pretty legit option.
Thanks for watching. If you want more budget bike reviews or just fun e-bike content, you know what to do. Ride far, ride fast, and ride forward. See you in the next one.
